sweet sixteen

i've gotten so behind with posting pictures, but i wanted to share these pics from a birthday party i shot in Arkansas. You may remember these beautiful sisters from a few months ago. They hired me for S's sixteenth birthday - she told everyone to dress up and meet at her house. I was a suprise guest/entertainment-photographer for the evening. They are such an AWESOME group of teens!
Then a stretch limo pulled up and took them to a surprise destination.

Then we had a bunch of fun!

jumping always warms up the crowd...
more jumping...

then everyone piled back in the limo, which took us to dinner downtown.

they rented out the basement of the fanciest restaurant in town, where we ate yummy food and opened presents.

That's just a sampling of the fun - hope you enjoyed the pics!

Such a very cool idea for a sweet sixteen party. Amazing photos (I think I would be at a loss with a group that big.) And I adore the cake photo.

btw - which lens did you use for the group photos? thanks!

Wow, these are AWESOME! You did such a great job with such a large group. Will you share your settings on the jump shots and also in the limo? Are you using flash at times?? I have the 580EX but haven't used it much and I'm not comfortable with it yet. So much to learn! :)

These are so fun! I would have loved to have these at that age. You got some amazing shots in a tough situation with being in a limo and so many in the group...but wow, you pulled it out! You're such an inspiration, thanks for sharing!
