yay, yay, yay...

...another senior! (unfortunately, this is the last of my recent run of seniors, sniff, sniff. So, send all your seniors my way for next spring, I just love 'em!) Maddie was so fun, as you can see, we trooped around downtown and then went to a little farm:
(*Disclaimer: I'm away from home, editing on a laptop, so I apologize if these look wonky at all*)

and there are soooo many more - i wish i could post more, but there's just not enough time ever!

recipe for success

What happens when you mix these two lovebirds?...

You get this,

this,

this,

this,

and this!

(...and don't hate them because they're beautiful =), they're so, super nice, i promise!)

APRONS!!!!!!!!

Now is your chance to win a FREE apron or apron kit! Remember the adorable aprons I photographed earlier this year? Well, I can finally send you over to the adorable site (if I do say so myself - I think it's the cutest website ever, and I'm so proud of it!) She blogs, too, & right now she's doing a give-away over there, so go check it out HERE!

She is offering apron kits or ready-made aprons. The kits would make adorable gifts (so would the aprons =) And the cool thing about her aprons is that they are REVERSIBLE! So, see the aprons below --- like them both? --- well, you get them BOTH, because it's reversible!!!

(I have "Molly" and love her - I feel so cute in the kitchen.) These are her new styles available now (remember these are REVERSIBLE, and they also tie in the front OR back, and I photographed them both ways below, so the bow doesn't have to be there, if you prefer it tied in the back.):

Here is the apron kit, also available for sale:

GO ENTER TO WIN! (AND BUY SOME, TOO! - You'll love them!)

urban senior

i demonstrated this senior session during a mentoring session, and it was so fun. i was looking for some places i had never shot at before, and we found some fun litle spots, like that yellow wall, which i loved. and isn't she beautiful! she is half guatemalan, and i loved her funky style. thanks ashlee!

(she *hearts* this wall, so i had to put one of these up ;)

{insert clever title here}

as you can see, i've had the opportunity to do a lot of senior sessions lately, which makes me very happy. here's another sneak peek! (...i think she was wondering why i was photographing her feet here:)

with glasses:

without glasses:

we shot both downtown and at the lake:

don't her eyes look so cool in the b&w version? and i didn't do anything to them, either (no really, i didn't. in fact, people ask me that a lot - if i do stuff to people's eyes - and in case you've been wondering too, the answer is nope.)
