oopsie!
Well, i wish i could tell you he did it himself, but.....
STAGE 1: "Before" - He's ALWAYS had long, curly hair - ALWAYS! and i LOVE[D] it, sniff, sniff. Now it's gone =( {he insists he's "Spiderman", so that's what we'll call him - and little brother says his name is "Batman" - and if you ever ask them what they're doing, they'll tell you very seriously, "Saving the wuwd [world]", lol}
STAGE 2: He's been needing a trim. i've always trimmed his hair myself, and it's always looked okay, but i didn't do such a great job this time, and everyone said his haircut looked like a girl - you be the judge.
STAGE 3: And this is the current state of his hair. Daddy decided to "fix" mommy's hack job before she woke up. And apparantly, "Spiderman"'s haircuts have reverse Samson-Effect, because look how incredibley strong it made him! (and yes, there will be a stage 4 - it still needs fixing.)

I'm almost crying! Isn't it sad? I hate it! We chop Jaden's once a year and regret it and say we're never doing that again, then comes spring, and we chop it. WE just did a mohawk...cool dude cut, hopefully it'll grow out soon. D looks great though! Although I have to say, I'm a fan of the long hair! We miss this guy!

Isn't it funny how a haircut instantly makes them look so grown up? Also, his hair looks quite a bit darker, too!

lol....i love your story and either way he is still so stinkin cute.....but it is so true ...a hair makes them look so grown up...sniff sniff...samething happend with my little man. Great shots. So playful!
from an unbiased stand point i think he looks adorable with long and short hair - he's a gorgeous kid and will always be soft on the eyes - i understand that it's sad for the mumma - i couldn't imagine cutting the pies hair......
OOOHHH, my little prince! You know he always has and always will have a soft spot in my heart!!! He's adorable no matter what, but I gotta say, I think I like stage two the best (not a huge fan of three). You should give him a little spikey due--the shorter hair wouldn't be bad if the bangs weren't so long. Great pics! I miss this guy; tell him to get those bad guys for his "Ashley Princess!"

What a cutie! I love long hair on little guys. We just cut off four inches from my little guys hair and he was told he looked more like a girl afterwards too! Go figure.
Your little guys is so adorable with or without the long hair and he clearly is the strongest little guy I've seen in ages!;-)
WOW...I can't believe my eyes! I just got back from vaccation and jumped on the computer this morning, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I never knew D would get short hair this soon. He looks sooooo different! I am grieving his long curly locks myself. I am thinking he should probably get the bangs shorter as well...what do you think Anna?

Thanks everyone - i agree, he's cute no matter what, but i really do miss his long curls, and yes, he DEFINITELY needs that hair fixed! I'll post a pic when it's done.
