Indie Art Photoblog: missed me? =)

missed me? =)

Sorry I haven't posted much lately - it's so cold here, I'm afraid to take photos outside (anyone know if it's safe for your cam when it's 20 degrees outside?)

So I thought this was fun (quite arbitrary, but interesting nonetheless): According to flickr, here are my MOST POPULAR images of 2007:

#1

#2

#3 (although, this one was taken in 2006)

And here are the other most poplular:

Those are the ones that you all supposedly liked the best [do you agree with the results? I do in many instances, although, I think I'll post next MY favorites of 2007] Thanks so much for such a fun, fun year! I can't wait to see what 2008 brings!

Wow, you are so incredibly talented. They are beautiful. I wouldn't think that the cold would hurt your camera, of course, that's just my inexpert opinion.

You are truly talented. I love each and every one.

Your camera will fine. If my camera couldn't handle cold weather I wouldn't get any pictures outside for months out of the year! I have taken pictures outside when it has been close to zero, not that I really like doing that. ;)

Your camera is fine! I take mine out here in British Columbia winter's all the time. Last week, it was -15, which is equal to about 6 F...just read up about condensation!

i see many have said 'no problem' about the cold and your camera. I, personally, will emphatically answer, "YES! IT CAN (hurt your camera)!"

I just got my new rebel for work because my old one is now kaput. i shoot weekly in temps anywhere from 10-30 degrees this time of year. Someone borrowed it during an unusually cold spell...it was taken out w/o a case, hiked about 1.5 and then when returned to the car, where the heater was turned up to high. Expert opinion was that the extreme cold/extreme heat was the culprit. Anyway, just my two cents. and who knows since it was an old camera (pro'ly two+ years)...

love the pics, as always, of course. i love the bride pictures, love the pictures with the horse, and also love the ones of your boys playing in the field with the sun shining thru their lovely locks!

(i just had a camera go kaput and i think it was weather related...i shoot once/week for work in temps anywhere from 10-30 during the winter. professional opinion is that the 1.5 mile hike, the pics, and the hike back combined with the immediate car heat are the culprits, but i can't be sure as it was already an older camera. i opted for a new one rather than a repair. just one case, but that's what happened to me...)
