It's my favorite season...HS SENIOR SEASON!

As you may know, I LOVE doing HS Senior sessions. And I'm so excited, because I got to do my first senior last week, and ....it was a BOY! (woohoo)....and he is so handsome (woohoo). Anyway, here's a little sneak-peak for Mr. M. This guy has a bright future - he's so polite and nice - kinda guy that makes a mama proud.

Thank you SO much for your offers to help me with my site. I will get in touch with you guys when it's ready for review. I LOVE my photography friends!

This image is from my very first photoshoot and they are still my all time faves. Even though they are technically lacking, I still love them. Just goes to show that you can have a lot of fun with a Rebel xt and 50 1.8 lense =) ***click on the image to view***I'm working on my new website right now, and it's so hard and so fun at the same time. I'm trying to chose one of three shots from this series for the front page. Which one do you like best? [the 2nd one here looks different cause I proofed it almost a year ago, before I had my actions done.]

I would really appreciate if any of you would be willing to critique it for me before I go live. Would you leave me a comment if you would? You don't have to be a professional photog - I would like to know how it strikes you and whether or not the images I chose are strong ones. I would be willing to do the same if you want to swap "services", too - I would love that!

So I decided to go with the Pantone Huey calibration system, but it appears that the Spyder2 Express is a good one, too. I am so excited to get it - sounds like you all love these. And of course you can never leave Amazon with only what you came for, so I threw this in the cart, too =) I LOVE this author - she and Patricia T. Holland are the 2 most inspirational women to me.

My darling boy - finally getting a chance to post some of these. We had so much fun. I did not pose him - he actually somewhat enjoys taking pics with me (I know, I'm so lucky!)

This is what you'd hear if you were there:

Me: "Do you think Spiderman or Superman is a cooler dude?"

Him: "Spiderman."

Me: "What about Wolverine? - is he the strongest?"

Him: "No way!!! --- SPIDERMAN!!!!!"

Me: "Hmmm, what about Superwoman?"

Him: "Haaaa -no way!"

....It's the only way to keep his attention while trying to get photos.

He has this very tacky Spiderman shirt with "wings" I bought him against my better judgment. He LOVES it. He wears it for 2 or 3 days straight, I wash it, and he wears it again. He'll even dig it out of the dirty laundry and try to sneek it on when I'm not looking. I love this boy!

And thank you so much for your input on my uncalibrated monitor! I really appreciate it. I guess it's not too bad, but it'd still be great to get a calibration system - so thanks for the recommendations.

Here's one of my sweet little nephew that I love sooooooo! I wish we could've been there for his baby blessing last week.

The garage is full of boxes, and I can't find my crockpot lid, grrrr. I also can't find my socks, so I'm wearing Josh's, ha! I needed a little r&r, so I proofed one of these....awwwwww.
